Step into History This Summer at Bodmin Jail with Brick History
Details: This summer, Bodmin Jail is bringing history to life in an exciting new way with Brick History, a major LEGO® exhibition running from 24th June to 8th September 2026. Exploring themes including The Arts, Conflict, Equality, Exploration and Transport, Brick History offers something for everyone, whether you are inspired by creativity, fascinated by invention or curious about the moments that changed the world.
Set inside the striking surroundings of Cornwall’s most iconic historic jail, Brick History invites visitors to explore thousands of years of world history through an extraordinary collection of LEGO creations.

Parent Transition Workshops
Details: MHST would like to off some parent/carer online information giving sessions to help them with the big step of primary to secondary school. These sessions are open to parent/carers of a year 6 child. Parents can sign themselves up.

The Alternative Prom
Details: GCSE exams nearly over? It's time to celebrate. The Alternative Prom is for Year 11 students who have been home educated or educated outside of mainstream school and want a chance to mark the end of their exams with friends and other young people from across Cornwall.
Join us on Thursday 25 June at Bodmin Holiday Park from 7:00pm – 10:00pm for an evening of music, food, dancing, and celebrations. It's your chance to get dressed up, have fun, make memories and celebrate everything you've achieved this year.
Tickets are £25 per person. The cost is £25 but there is potentially support for those where cost may genuinely a barrier.

Liskeard Carnival Week
Details: Liskeard Carnival Week returns from 22–27 June 2026 with a packed programme of fun community events leading up to the town’s annual carnival procession. The week begins with a Quiz Night at the Royal British Legion on Monday, followed by the ever-popular Wheelbarrow Race on Tuesday and the colourful Pavement Artist competition outside Webb’s House on Wednesday.
